It's Monday morning and the first email I see in my inbox is ... a SCAM trying to access our Meta Business account ...

Just a quick PSA: if you see an unsolicited request for a Business Manager request from Meta, check to make sure that it's coming from someone you're doing business with.

On our end, I'm making sure our team is aware that they should not be approving anything without checking with a senior staff member first. I'm also contacting our clients to tell them know about this new scam.

The scary thing is that this is a real request, coming from the actual Meta notification system. I suspect that the scammers are asking for permissions to try and take the account over, hold it ransom, or run ads using our credit cards.
